Last night I watched one of my favourite shows Hawaii Five-0. Lots of action, lots of heartwarming moments and lots of WTH moments too!! I know there is a story line they are trying to work with and solve, but I miss the fun on the show, the moments that would make laugh out loud, the carguments, the witty banter.  It seems too serious now.  Steve is looking way too stressed and thin.  Kono has always been slender but I think she is getting too skinny and Lori, she was too thin when she started at H50. Thats just my opinon though. I see people who have eating disorders because they are trying to look like a famous person.  They dont realize that those famous people have dieticians/cooks, personal trainers etc to keep them that slender. People in real life, with regular jobs, dont have that luxury.  It’s so hard to try to lose weight and be healthy, and yes, I’m speaking of personal experience. I lost a lot of weight a few years ago and the last year I’ve let it all go, stress, homesickness.  It’s not really an excuse but when all you have are comfort foods to keep you sane, you do what you can do to keep you sane.  I love my show, but the people seem to be wasting away, except for Danno and Chin, they look awesome.  Here’s to more uplifting, lmao moments on one of my favourite tv shows!! And if you havent checked it out yet, do it, you wont be disappointed.

I’ve always heard the phrase “It takes 2 to tango” and I totally agree with it. It takes 2 people to put the effort into a friendship.  One cant always be the one making the initiative, making the first contact.  It becomes too one sided. But when does one give up.  I’ve tried to make friends or become better friends with certain people and it just seems like I’m always the one trying and the other side, just doesnt care.  When do you give up?  How long is too long?

It’s Saturday, almost lunch time… I’ve slept in and I’m still not motivated to do a damn thing!! Maybe the craziness of Christmas has made me want some quiet, do nothing time!! Surf on the net time, play on tumblr, twitter and facebook time!! Yeah, ok, the living room is a mess and there are dishes to be washed, but come on, that’ll take what, maybe an hour or 2 to do… why do right now what you can put off for later bahahaha…. so yeah, this is me on no motivation saturday lol!

sometimes social network sites, well, we take things too personally.  I know first hand!! I mean, I try to follow people on twitter to make new friends and I try to interact and get to know peeps but it seems like it’s one sided.  I took it personally, like whats wrong with me that no one wants to talk to me… but then I realized, no one wants to know what really goes on in my life, they want to talk about favourite tv shows, movies, actors etc…. who cares how the hell my day went!!! My new acronym that I think I will start using is LAGAC… Like Anyone Gives A Crap!!!  I have been MIA on twitter and no one even noticed… it is kind of sad that I’m basing my self importance on a bunch of tweeps that I have never met. But then again, I am human and we all look for acceptance and love.

So it’s the new year which means new things could happen!! I didnt really make a new years resolution but did make a promise to myself to take better care of myself :) 

2011 was a busy crazy year, new job, new life in a new city, lots of adjustments!! I think I’m still adjusting to the changes!! New favs for 2011 as far as actors… Alex O’Loughlin, loved him in Moonlight and even more so now in Hawaii Five-0!! Jeremy Renner is also on that list and Ryan Gosling.  Rob Pattison is a fav but I think it’s more of his role as Edward. Just like Orlando Bloom, I liked him as Legolas. His other movies were ok, but I liked him best as the Elf ;o) 

This year I have movies I want to get caught up on and books too!! So much to do and so little time!! Hope everyone had a wonderful new years and hope 2012 brings you health and happiness!!!

like 7 months since I’ve posted on here.  I just never get a chance to sign on in here… will try to do better in the new year.  I really dont think there is much of anything that would be interesting to post on here by me anyways…. but I will try :)
